Sunil Soman– Management Consultant

Sunil has over 15 years of global experience in strategy and operations, with over 6 years in premier strategy consulting firms like McKinsey & Company in Chicago and Booz & Co in London leading large transformational programs with Fortune Global 500 companies in North America, Europe, Middle East and Asia.

Prior to that, he was with Manugistics (now JDA), where he crafted several innovative, patent winning technology-enabled-supply-chain solutions for several clients across industries.

Sunil attended University of Minnesota working towards a PhD in Operations and has a bachelors degree from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT).

When not solving problems at work Sunil enjoys running in the woods and baking his favorite sticky toffee pudding and believes he has a good nose for whiskey.

Prash Pokala– Management Consultant

Prash has over 12 years of global experience in Operations , E-Commerce strategy and technology and has an MBA from INSEAD in France.

Before co-founding Soman Pokala, she worked with Hotels.com (a division of Expedia) where she lead multiple e-commerce initiatives including the design & implementation of the hotels.com loyalty program & a multi-channel consumer management program. Prior to that, she was with United Airlines where she was a program manager leading implementation and launch of several complex global programs in response to the then rapidly  changing airline industry landscape.

Prash is passionate about helping clients realize value by using technology as a key enabler to manage and thrive in a complex and dynamic environment. 

Outside of work, Prash loves playing scrabble, traveling around the world admiring cathedrals, temples and museums and spending time with her niece and nephew

Soma matha

Is a traditional Hindu Parampara (Lineage) started in USA by the Lord Dakshinamurti, himself.  Led by Shri Paramahamsa Gananathamritanandaswami, this Sampradaya works to preserve the traditions and shakti of the Sanatana dharma, by teaching the mystical sciences of veda, puja, yajnam, mantra, yantra, yoga, ayurveda, jyotisha, and vaastu shastra.  The devotees are working diligently to prepare and circulate authentic and accurate information about the practices, beliefs, and history of the Sanatana Dharma.  Particular emphasis is being placed on providing guidance and teachings for the Indian immigrants in the Western countries.  It is very important to help the Hindu communities to educate the second generation of Hindus in the West.  The Sampradaya is working also to help empower the many Sacred Temples springing up all over the Western Countries.  Work is being done to build dozens of Mandirams (Temples) in the West and in Mother India.  Four Maths (Monasteries) are being planned for USA to house sannyasis and saadhvis.  Work is beings done to teach vedas and traditional rites like the Sandhya Vandanam, Nitya Pujas, and the Shodasha Samskaram for devotees.  There are plans to build a traditonal Vedashala (Hindu Seminary) in USA for the purposes of training purohits (priests).  The humble efforts of the devotees of the Shukla Bhadra Sampradaya are offered at the feet of the formless Lord and Guru, Dakshinamurti.
